Inspiration comes in many forms. I am often inspired by nature, after all, it is all around us. This fungus was growing in my lawn...just a lone white mushroom among the green blades of grass; a standout for sure. Uprooting it I felt it was sturdy, yet delicate. Under the very plain white top of this mushroom, hid very beautiful and delicate layers, which reminds me of gathered chiffon, or the tutu of a ballerina, or a wedding gown...and so it begins...inspiration.
